Zimmerman’s Automotive honored families at a special event Saturday.
“Keepin’ Cars Kickin” it’s a national program designed to help businesses share their expertise and give back to the community.
Zimmerman’s Automotive was closed to the public to give general vehicle maintenance and car care education.
Twenty families from New Hope Ministries were chosen to get free vehicle services.
“What were doing is were taking care of oil changes if we can do a transmission service were going to do that uh exchanges as well as engineer filters as well as were pulling the vehicle into our service bays and they are checking them out and putting them up on a lift”, said Jacquie Hower, Director of Operations.
Child safety seat checks and a blood drive was also at the event.
