Shop Look: Oilstop Salmon Creek
Over the course of 2024, NOLN readers saw some of the most impressively designed quick lube facilities across the U.S. featured in our Shop Look section.
As we bid farewell to the year and usher in 2025, we’re taking a moment to recognize just a few of these spectacular shops.
Revisit the spacious Ecolube of Chowchilla, California, which owners Clay Haynes, Josh Ringeisen, and Jerry Volkmar managed to create after starting with a flooded basement, as they shared with us this past February.
Or, jump back to August and hear about Classic Lube of Deland, Florida: a business with multiple locations that owner Rick Rivera began working at as a college student before purchasing the shop two decades later.
In October, we visited with Benny’s Mobil 1 Express Lube, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a total of seven oil change locations. Initially starting as a car wash in the ‘50s, hear the story of how this family business found even more success after expanding to quick lube services.
There are plenty more shops we’ll adventure to in 2025—but until then, take a moment to catch up on some you may have missed!
