A Spanish version of a course on fluid removal has been released by the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) and the Automotive Recycling Training Institute (ARTI), according to a press release.
The course, titled “Fluid Removal Depollution,” is hosted on ARA University (ARAU), an online learning platform for automotive recyclers and their employees.
Topics covered in the module include best practices, industry standards, and regulations for fluid removal specific to automotive dismantling, such as fuel, oil, other petroleum-based fluids, and antifreeze.
Donations to ARTI funded the creation of the Spanish translation, along with oversight and review of the updates during the production process.
“The needs of our Spanish speaking members and their employees has been a high priority for ARA leadership,” said ARA President Nick Daurio. “It has been a goal of ours to translate several of our most popular courses into Spanish and we are very pleased with how this version of the Depollution course came out."
