Jan. 4, 2023—A Costa 10 Minute Oil Change location recently suffered significant damage due to a nearby traffic accident.
According to Our Quad Cities, the building was hit by a car that had been involved in an accident at a nearby intersection. This particular Costa Oil location is in East Moline, Ill. Photos shared by Our Quad Cities show that the car smashed into multiple service bay doors and caused damage heavy enough to close the business temporarily.
The incident occurred on December 30, right before the end of the year. A representative from Costa Oil said that the holiday season prevented their insurance company from being able to assess the damage until this week. Once the assessment takes place, they can start the repair process. Until then, the location will be closed and customers are being encouraged to visit the Costa 10 Minute Oil Change in Milan instead.
