June 22, 2021—Former Groupe Renault executive Franck Louis-Victor will join Ford as the company's New Businesses Platform team lead.
The 48-year-old will start with company July 1 and will be primarily responsible for developing the company's strategic plan for its "existing and emerging portfolio of capabilities in areas like autonomous vehicles and mobility services," according to a news release from Ford. Louis-Victor has worked in the industry for more than 20 years, and most recently in his role with Groupe Renault oversaw the implementation of new multimedia systems that brought startups together to design and develop new technology and services for vehicles.
Ford executives said in the release Louis-Victor will identify areas where the company "can get and stay ahead of competitors in creating more rewarding customer experiences."
