Dealerships are managing to regain more than 90% of their service department customers with the introduction of mobile maintenance services to their offerings, reports Forbes.

Curbee, a company that helps dealerships integrate into offering mobile services, began expanding its services to dealerships nationwide this year. According to the company, 92% of those who signed on are managing to bring back customers.

Specifically, 92% of customers who hadn’t visited in 18 months or longer agreed to mobile services upon a dealer reaching out with the offer.

For older vehicles—seven years and older—100% of services were routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery checks, with the average appointment time being 55 minutes.

“By delivering maintenance directly to customers’ homes or workplaces, dealerships can re-engage with a key customer base while differentiating themselves in an increasingly competitive market,” Curbee has asserted.
