Nov. 23, 2021—High performance oil brand Hot Shot's Secret earlier this month announced it would expand its Blue Diamond PAO diesel engine oil line with a new 10W-30 oil.
According to a news release, the 100 percent synthetic oil will be made for heavy-duty diesel vehicles and features improved oxidation, shearing and thermal stability. The release also says the oil reduces engine wear by up to 71 percent, allows for longer drain intervals and change intervals "can be extended up to every 50,000 to 100,000 miles if the oil is monitored every 10,000 miles for the total base number."
"This oil also requires a very small amount of viscosity improvers to meet the weight specification, allowing it to be formulated with additional additives to improve performance," the release said.
