April Knight, A.J. Hubbard and Mikayla Hill, worked on a car recently during an automotive technician class at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire. The number of female students enrolled in the program this fall is the highest it has been in at least a decade, college officials said.
A.J. Hubbard wore a tank top with the word “LOVE” emblazoned across the front as she worked on a Chevy Tahoe under the watchful eye of classmate April Knight, who sported a red cowl neck sweater.
Their instructor, Margie Stewart, talked about the ability of pink nail polish to hide grimy fingertips.
