Lucas Oil Center Joins No-Shave November

Lucas Oil Center employees are giving their razors a rest for the month of November to raise awareness for men's health.

Nov. 10, 2020—Lucas Oil Center employees are giving their razors a break all through November.

According to a press release, the quick lube center is taking part in its eighth consecutive year of No-Shave November, a viral trend meant to raise cancer awareness.

While it's usually a part of the company's dress code to be clean shaven or have beards be kept neat and tidy, this month allows employees to grow out their facial hair for 30 days. As part of the initiative, team members, including owner Bill Floyd, took part in a ceremonial shaving at the beginning of the month with the help of local Diverse Salon owner DeShay Johnson. For women employees, they were able to take part by getting their eyebrows trimmed and shaped.

No-Shave November goes until Nov. 30.
