July 9, 2020—Valvoline recently provided a business update on how the company has been doing through the impact of COVID-19, according to a press release.
According to the release, the company has made a comeback since June, increasing sales by 33 percent. The company also increased its lubricant volume by 32 percent.
For same-store sales, Valvoline saw 7.2 percent system-wide growth for June compared to June 2019. Company-owned stores grew 10.4 percent compared to last June and franchised stores grew 5 percent.
Overall, Valvoline says its quick lube same-store sales were positive for the month of June, with significant improved over May 2020.
