Grease Monkey, SpeeDee Oil Change Franchisees Awarded by International Franchise Association
FullSpeed Automotive franchise owners Ron Morrow, Jr. and Brian and Denise Morrison were recently recognized as their respective brands’ Franchisees of the Year by the International Franchise Association, according to a press release.
IFA’s Franchisee of the Year Award recognizes leading franchise owners from IFA member brands, who are nominated by their parent company. Nominees are evaluated based on community involvement, entrepreneurial values, positive workplace cultures, and support for other franchisees.
Ron Morrow, Jr.
Morrow, Jr. is a second-generation Grease Monkey franchisee, acquiring his father’s 18 Colorado stores in 2016 after working alongside him to build their business. He has since grown their number of locations to 26, making him the Grease Monkey franchisee with most locations.
Brian and Denise Morrison
In 2019, Brian and Denise Morrison opened their first SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service location in Spartanburg, South Carolina, opening a second location in the next year. Currently, they operate six SpeeDee stores and 11 Grease Monkey locations, with plans in motion for two more stores to open.
The awards were presented to Morrow, Jr. and the Morrisons at the 65th IFA Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Ron, Brian, and Denise all embody the values of excellence, integrity, and community that are central to the success of their respective brands,” said FullSpeed Automotive President Ron Stilwell. “Their commitment to putting others first, supporting fellow franchisees, and their leadership in growing and expanding the Grease Monkey and SpeeDee brands make them incredibly deserving of the Franchisee of the Year Award.”
