Tire, Lube, and Car Care Partners with North Carolina College for Technician Training

College of The Albemarle in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, has partnered with Tire, Lube, and Car Care to host a training course for entry-level automotive technicians, reports The Coastland Times.

The 96-hour course will teach students about key systems of a vehicle, including electric, brakes, engine, fuel, exhaust, ignition, lubrication, cooling, transmission, steering, and suspension systems.

TLC owner William Blanchard is a graduate of COA himself. The first class is slated to begin Feb. 25, with registration currently open.

“As a proud graduate of COA, it’s an honor to give back to the institution that laid the foundation for my career,” said Blanchard. “Through this partnership, we’re not just teaching technical skills—we’re building futures and contributing to the strength of our local workforce.”
