Valvoline Instant Oil Change Expands Presence in South Carolina Midlands

Construction on a new Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Lexington, South Carolina, is underway, reports The State Newspaper.

Slated for 5362 Sunset Blvd., a white building there that formerly housed a Little Caesars restaurant has been demolished, with town of Lexington documents showing construction has begun on the new Valvoline. A recent Facebook post from real estate firm DeWees also confirmed it will be a Valvoline.

Sunset Boulevard is a high-traffic commercial thoroughfare, seeing nearly 41,000 cars travel down it a day. A Mellow Mushroom restaurant next door to the future Valvoline, as well as several other national retailers nearby, make it a spot with a lot of potential for business.

Currently, the closest Valvoline stores to Lexington—and the only ones in mid-South Carolina—are three locations in Columbia, South Carolina; one of which opened just last year.
