Automotive Lubricant and Filtration Technology Subject of Upcoming ASE Webinar

Peter Orlando of the Carquest Technology Institute will go over advanced gasoline engine technologies that require original equipment oil formulations.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence will be holding a webinar on modern-day lubricants and filtration technologies next week, according to a press release.

Led by Peter Orlando with the Carquest Technology Institute, the session is titled “Vehicle Fluids - Lubricant & Filtration Technology Update,” and will take place on Oct. 29.

Orlando will go over advanced gasoline engine technologies that require original equipment oil formulations, as well as the importance of using the correct oil and filter media for an engine.

The webinar will also provide laboratory analysis of engine oils and insight into what happens to oil over its useful life and the role oil plays in engine design.

Those who participate in the webinar will receive a certificate of attendance within one week. Anyone unable to attend may register and obtain access to a recorded session, if available.
