Valvoline Inc. Begins Search for Successor to Chief Financial Officer

Mary Meixelsperger will stay on as CFO until a replacement is found, and continue to offer support throughout the transition period.

Valvoline Inc. will begin searching for a new chief financial officer upon the retirement of Mary Meixelsperger, according to a press release.

Meixelsperger will stay on as CFO until a replacement is found, and continue to offer support throughout the transition period. Valvoline has employed an executive search firm to assist with the process, which will include both internal and external candidates.

Prior to coming on as CFO at Valvoline in 2016, Meixelsperger was CFO for Designer Brands, Inc. (formerly DSW Inc.) and Shopko Stores. 

Now, Meixelsperger sits on the board of directors for Genesco Inc., and was this year made the director for the Cincinnati branch board of The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. In 2023, she was also named among the Top 50 Women Leaders of Kentucky for 2023.
