An oil change at a Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Missouri quickly turned into an hours-long ordeal after a customer accidentally rammed through the bay doors, Leader Publications reports.
Last Wednesday, the driver of an SUV at a Valvoline in Festus, Missouri, was attempting to enter one of the facility’s bays–however, the customer mistakenly hit the acceleration instead of the brake, causing him to crash through the bay’s rear door.
Fortunately, no one was injured, but after the accident, employees and the driver had to wait for over two hours for a garage door company to arrive at the 635 N. Creek Drive business and get the vehicle out.
As it was an accident, the incident was not reported to the police. The business continued to operate in its other two bays until the SUV could be removed.
