The annual NAPA Auto Car Clinic in Terre Haute, Indiana is preparing to launch again this year, WAWV reports.
Technicians from different providers will be stationed at gas pumps in the Baesler’s Parking lot on September 30 to help host the free car care clinic.
The event is open to anyone in the community who needs assistance with vehicle maintenance. Steve Finzel, owner of Finzel’s Mastertech, said that services offered will include checking drivers’ fluids and topping them off if needed, airing tires up, and answering any questions drivers may have about their vehicles.
Each year, the event benefits a different charity, with Catholic Charities Terre Haute being the recipient this year.
“We’d like to see this event grow bigger than it has gotten, but every year it seems we get more and more traffic with people coming out and taking advantage [of the opportunity] and asking some of the basic things, like I don’t know how to check my oil. Where’s my spare tire, how do I put a car seat in? All different kinds of things,” said Finzel.
