The opening of a new Jiffy Lube in Santa Barbara, California has been announced, according to PR Web.
The new store at 3956 State Street joins the Goleta Jiffy Lube and the downtown Santa Barbara Jiffy Lube as the third location in the area.
Operated by local franchise owner Sean Porcher, the store went through two months of extensive remodeling and is now equipped with an outdoor seating area, a coffee bar, and a newly remodeled lobby and restroom.
“Up to 15” technicians will be employed at the Jiffy Lube, with George Jimenez serving as manager. Jimenez first joined the company in July 2020 following his retirement from the United States Army.
Fellow Marine Corp veteran and certified mechanic Juan Hernandez will be on the team as well, along with Lorena Tovar as the manager-in-training. She brings 20 years of automotive experience and four years specifically dedicated to working with Jiffy Lube. Jiffy Lube MultiCare Master Technician Evaluator Julio Villalobos has been with the company for seven years and will “round out the leadership team.”
Store owner Porcher said that the team chosen for the store “is second to none,” and that when it comes to a variety of different repair work, “this team has it all!”
