March 16, 2021—Monro Inc., a leading automotive repair and tire services company, has acquired California-based Mountain View Tire & Service, the company announced in a press release.
The acquisition includes 30 Mountain View Tire and Service locations, expanding Monro’s presence in the Western Region to over 100 locations.

Executing on strategically located acquisitions is a critical cornerstone of our growth strategy, and this announcement underscores the progress we have made on capitalizing on attractive opportunities in our fragmented industry. We are excited to welcome Mountain View to the Monro family,” Robert Mellor, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Monro, said in a statement.
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of fiscal 2022, and add approximately $45 million in annualized sales, representing a sales mix of 70 percent service and 30 percent tires.
