April 23, 2021—Pep Boys announced another round of scholarships as part of its Race to 2026 initiative aimed at boosting aspiring technician education.
The company will give five $10,000 scholarships to students looking to become professional technicians in major metro areas. Ten $5,000 scholarships are available to students in other areas of the country.
“There’s no better way to celebrate our centennial and demonstrate our commitment to the future than by supporting an impressive new generation of automotive technicians,” said Brian Kaner, CEO of Pep Boys, in a press release.
Applications can be submitted through May 21 at the scholarship website.
