July 8, 2021—PLZ Aeroscience Corporation announced Tuesday its acquisition of specialty lubricant manufacturer Champion Brands, LLC.
The acquisition will allow Chicago-based PLZ to expand its full-service automotive and industrial offerings according to a news release, "positioning the company to better serve its customers with a comprehensive suite of aerosol and non-aerosol products."
Champion produces more that 300 types of functional fluids and performance products, including semi-synthetic and full-synthetic motor oils, brake fluid and fuel treatments, among others. Champion operates a 450,000 square-foot facility in Clinton, Missouri.
