Two regional quick lube operators have joined forces to help disadvantaged children.

Sept. 8, 2021—Two regional quick lube operators have joined forces to help disadvantaged children.

Grease Monkey of Clinton, Utah, has partnered with Master Lube of Roy, Utah, are working with the Utah Weber Fraternal Order of Police on a program that aids children. The program is also a collaboration between the police departments in the Utah towns of Weber and Morgan, according to a press release. Officers, public safety employees shop with local kids for items like shoes, clothing, school supplies and backpacks.

“Our business and crew teams recognize the importance of not only providing honest, trustworthy, and convenient preventive maintenance service, but to also engage and get involved in our community needs,” market manager Ryan Slade said in the press release. “In today’s world, we all feel the need to be the change, and to help police officers build positive relationships with kids and their families is a program we will continue to stand behind.”
