Aug. 19, 2022—A one-day fundraising event at Valvoline Express Care in Grove City, Pennsylvania, raised thousands of dollars for a local organization.
The event was held Aug. 13. Ken Frenchak, general manager of the shop, told NOLN that they serviced 70 customer vehicles as part of the fundraiser to raise $5,000. As part of the promotion, the net profit from the oil changes went toward donations.
The recipient was the Grove City YMCA, according to Frenchak. The funds help support facilities, programs, and child care services.
