Nov. 8, 2022—Purolator received three automotive communication awards during AAPEX 2022.
According to a press release, the awards were presented by Women in Auto Care, which is a community of the Auto Care Association. Purolator won for Best Article/Blog/Content Piece, Best Merchandising and Best Video.
"Our goal is to continuously inform and educate while also entertain consumers and customers alike on the importance of choosing premium filters," said Daryl Benton vice president of sales and marketing automotive market – North America at MANN+HUMMEL Purolator Filters LLC via the press release. "We are honored to earn recognition for these efforts from WiAC, an organization dedicated to the empowerment and advancement of women in the auto care industry."
Purolator's win for Best Article/Blog/Content Piece was an article that was originally placed in Motor Age magazine in late 2021. It focused on the importance of "full synthetic oil filter media with regard to filtration quality," according to the press release. The Best Merchandising win was for Purolator BOSS Premium Cabin Air Filters with Febreze Freshness featuring a display that had an application guide for consumers to help them find the right filter and a take-home pamphlet that discussed the role of cabin filters in vehicles.
The Best Video award was for a video that highlighted Purolator BOSS as a premium cabin air filter to help filter virus aerosols, dirt, debris, pollen and more.
