GREENBRIER, Ark. - A kitten trapped under a car in Greenbrier has been rescued by a technician at Splash Express Lube. This happened after the Greenbrier Police received an unusual call for help. A concerned motorist flagged down a police car after hearing a kitten meowing under her car. Two Greenbrier Police officers responded and tried several times to remove the kitten but could not. That's when then police escorted the car to the nearby Express Lube "First time for everything... I've never rescued a cat, especially under a car before. Like I said it makes me feel pretty good about doing it. Hopefully the cat is doing okay and is in a good home," Trever Baker, a technician at Splash Express Lube said. After about 10 minutes, Baker managed to gently remove the kitten from under the car, who was unharmed.
Baker received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Police Department for his successful rescue.
