Dec. 15, 2020—Mister Car Wash sold its 27 Mister Oil Change Express locations to Valvoline, as reported in early December.
Now, the CEO of Mister Car Wash released a statement wishing his former team members well in the transition.
"As we continue building a world-class car wash company, we are confident that our Mister Oil Change Express team members will find a bright future in their careers with Valvoline, as they share our commitments to customer service and the communities in which they work, " said CEO John Lai in a press release.
The deal closed on Dec. 11, and the shops will become Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations.
