Valvoline Global Launches Sixth-Annual Mechanics Month Initiative
Valvoline Global Operations is launching its sixth-annual Mechanics Month initiative on March 3, according to a press release.
This year’s theme, “The Future is in Your Hands,” will feature Valvoline Global teams from over 60 countries celebrating local technicians.
In addition to teaming up with Hendrick Motorsports for surprise deliveries of Valvoline Mechanics Month packages to team members in the U.S., this year will see the company provide over 100 toolboxes to techs in Thailand; dozens of scholarships for techs in Mexico and El Salvador; and brand and product training for over 200 techs throughout China.
Technicians across the world will be featured by Valvoline in global web and social media spotlights during the month of March as well.
For the second year in a row, Valvoline is also partnering with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One for its Valvoline Global Aspiring Mechanics Program; this year, providing training from F1 technicians for students of Milton Keynes College in the U.K.
“Valvoline Global is proud to honor the important contributions of mechanics worldwide,” said Jamal Muashsher, Valvoline Global chief executive officer. “Mechanics Month is about recognizing the mechanics in our local communities who not only maintain the present – but also shape the future – by keeping people around the world moving forward.”
