Lucas Oil President Katie Lucas Wins ‘Exemplary Service Award’
Lucas Oil President Katie Lucas was recently awarded at the 2025 Champions of Diversity Awards in Indianapolis, according to a press release.
On Jan. 17, Lucas was given the Exemplary Service Award at the 2025 Champions of Diversity Awards Dinner in Indianapolis—what was recently made the new home of Lucas Oil’s headquarters.
In addition to her contributions to promoting equity in the company, Lucas was awarded the title for her support to charitable organizations, such as Wheeler Mission, one of the largest and most diverse ministries in Indiana that supports the homelessness, and is directly supported by Lucas Oil.
Lucas has led Lucas Oil’s philanthropic and community engagement efforts, and has made a name for herself in the community, having recently been named Board Chair of the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation. Additionally, Lucas sits on the boards of the Indianapolis Zoo, EDGE Mentoring, and the Grit & Grace Nation Foundation.
Lucas is on the national leadership council at the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation and Indiana University Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council. She’s also a founding member and the inaugural chair of Called to Care, a Circle of Impact for Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
