A quick lube in Detroit, Michigan, used its place in the community to help those in need on Christmas Day, according to a report from WXYZ.
This past Wednesday, FastLane Oil Change gave away 25 free oil changes and wiper blades for community members in need. Customers in line behind the first 15 cars were also offered a half-off discount for oil changes.
Additionally, FastLane performed some much-needed maintenance on a vehicle for Rashanda Martin, a mother of nine. They installed new brakes, rotors, pads, and filters for free.
Blazin’ Grill, a restaurant next door to FastLane, also gave out 100 free meals as part of the event.
