Valvoline Instant Oil Change Outlines Plans for Expansion in 2025

Valvoline has released numbers on its expansion plans for the next year, according to a report from Simply Wall St.

In fiscal year 2025, the company is aiming to open 160 to 185 new stores. CEO and President Lori Flees said she’s confident in the company’s potential growth, having seen a 12% increase in system-wide store sales this fiscal year.

The company has also seen a 14% compound annual growth rate over the past three years in the fleet segment of its business.

Additionally, Valvoline plans to expand its franchisee network to 250 new stores annually, bolstered by the company’s increasing refranchising efforts and new partnerships.

CFO Mary Meixelsperger did note that the company has been experiencing issues with IT general controls that it's actively working to resolve.
