A Grease Monkey shop in El Paso, Texas, recently hosted a car show to benefit children in need this holiday season, reports KVIA ABC-7 News.

Paul Beltran, owner of the Grease Monkey store, hosted the event in collaboration with Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots. In order to showcase a vehicle in the show, participants had to make a toy donation.

“I feel like it’s a responsibility to give back to your community,” said Beltran.

Drawing people from across the Borderland, the event not only was an opportunity for car enthusiasts to enjoy their hobbies, but to help with making a positive impact—especially so close to the holiday season.

“It’s like you’re Santa Claus—kind of like without being Santa Claus,” described one participant.
