Auto Care Brands With Highest U.S. Market Gains Recognized at AAPEX 2024

Consumer behavior analyst Circana looked at brands with the highest gains in aftermarket fluids, maintenance, antifreeze, and other categories.

At this year’s AAPEX, consumer behavior analyst Circana recognized the winners of its sixth-annual Automotive Aftermarket Performance Awards, according to a press release.

The awards go to brands with the highest gains in United States market share, with a top brand being recognized across different key aftermarket segments.

Circana has based its rankings on its Retail Tracking Service, which has compiled sales data from retailers including automotive specialty, mass market, tires, and e-commerce.

Most notably, Valvoline was named the winner of the chemicals, additives, and fluids category.

NOCO was named the winner in the maintenance and repair section. According to the brand’s website, it specializes in producing premium consumer battery chargers, jump starters, batteries, and accessories.

For wipers, Rain-X saw the highest market share increase, and the PEAK brand came out on top in the antifreeze and coolant segment.

Other categories in the awards included:

  • Accessories & Appearance: Meguiar’s
  • Performance Chemicals: Mr. Gasket
  • Lighting: Sylvania
  • Interior Accessories: Dickies
  • Passenger Car/Light Truck & HD/Commercial Tires: Michelin
