The fifth annual art competition in Hamilton County, Indiana, was once again sponsored by Jiffy Lube of Indiana this year, reports the Hamilton County Reporter.
Artists from within Hamilton Country—and, for the first time this year, those living within a mile of the county line—participate in the competition each year, titled the Juried Exhibit of Hamilton County Artists.
For the past four years, Jiffy Lube of Indiana has been the title sponsor for each competition, with Jiffy Lube of Indiana CEO Steve Sanner being present at this year’s award ceremony on Sept. 13 to welcome guests and artists to the event.
Winners were awarded cash prizes, with Best in Show winner Jerry Mannell being awarded $1,000 in addition to a solo exhibit next year.
Through Sept. 28, all paintings entered in the competition will be up for sale within the Art Gallery at City Hall in the Fishers Municipal Center.
