Lubricant Distributor Waring Oil Company Acquires Louisiana-Based Lavigne Oil Company

Waring Oil Company has acquired Lavigne Oil Company of Baton Rouge, expanding its presence as a supplier in the state of Louisiana, reports the Vicksburg Post.

A supplier of wholesale fuels, lubricants, greases, specialty lubes, and diesel exhaust fluid, Waring Oil is based in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

The company’s acquisition of Lavigne Oil took effect Aug. 26. Waring Oil Co-Owner Howard Waring said that the business will now be able to offer its services in Louisiana in addition to Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama.

“I think it’s going to be a good thing down the road, we just have to grow into it,” added Waring.
