The CEO and co-founder of mobile auto care company Get Spiffy, Inc. has stepped down to be succeeded by a fellow co-founder, according to a press release.

For the past decade, Co-Founder Scot Wingo has been CEO of Spiffy, with other Co-Founder Karl Murphy serving as president.

With Wingo’s departure, Murphy will now take the role of CEO; though Wingo will continue to serve on the company’s board of directors, assisting with a smooth transition as well as to provide strategic oversight and support to the leadership team.

“I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished together and confident in Karl's ability to lead Spiffy into its next chapter of growth and success,” said Wingo. “This transition is a natural progression, and I look forward to supporting Spiffy in my new role as a board member.”
