The new Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers location in Valley, Alabama, was met with great success at its opening this week, Valley Times reports.
Located at 20th Ave in the Village Square Shopping Center, the business is the first of several other stores set to open in the shopping center, including Marshalls, Petsense, and Five Below.
Though the store’s opening had a late start at 3 p.m. this past Tuesday, over a dozen vehicles were already lined up outside the shop, with six employees and technicians on site ready to help.
“It’s unlimited as far as capacity,” said Sam Sainker, vice president of operations for Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers. “We have similar stores that do hundreds of cars a day.”
All the store’s employees live locally, spanning from Lanett to LaGrange. Chris Francis, the store’s manager, lives just down the road from the shop. Having previously worked with the Express Oil Change brand for 15 years, when Francis heard about plans for the new location, he wanted to be involved.
The store will be offering different promotions to celebrate its launch through Aug. 7, and a grand opening ceremony is planned to be held in the next couple of months. Francis said that he has plans to connect with other businesses in the area to plan community events.
“[It is] literally the first part of our mission statement: to give each customer the assurance that their vehicle is well taken care of,” stated Francis.
