North Carolina Car Wash Owner Expands Business to Offer Oil Changes and Vehicle Maintenance
The owner of a car wash facility in Newland, North Carolina, decided to incorporate oil changes and brake jobs into his services, resulting in the opening of the Magic Wash Oil Change and Brake Service, reports the Avery Journal.
For 14 years, the business was only a car wash owned by Buddy Williamson. Charles Bailey operates another local business for Williamson, and the two formulated an idea to expand Magic Wash’s services by repurposing two of its wash bays to function as service bays.
Now, the business–located at 600 Pineola Street across from a NAPA Auto Parts store–performs oil changes, brake services, and other minor maintenance, according to Bailey, who brings 15 years of experience working with cars. There are also plans in motion to begin offering North Carolina state vehicle inspections.
Both Williamson and Bailey are looking forward to seeing the business continue to grow through this change.
“We just want to welcome everyone, and are excited to get to work,” said Bailey.
