Midas is celebrating the company’s 67th anniversary in April by asking its franchisees to do 67 acts of kindness for their communities, according to a press release.
The company was met with a resounding response, with “over 100 events” planned for the upcoming month. Stores have organized to hold events such as blood drives and catalytic converter theft-prevention sessions, as well as donating vehicles through Project Spark, through which “Midas franchisees have given 60+ families in need the gift of reliable transportation” so far.
“Midas franchisees never fail to impress me,” stated Lenny Valentino Jr, the vice president and GM at Midas. “I asked for 67 stores to step up, and at the last count we had 110.”
Of Midas’ nearly 1,200 locations in the United States, the stores that chose to participate span from Vancouver, Washington to Fort Smith, Arkansas.
