This week, iFLEX is being held at the Music City Center convention center in Nashville, Tennessee.
The annual event takes place during The Car Wash Show. It’s an opportunity for quick lube representatives to come together to learn, connect, and celebrate the industry.
PAMA has a lineup of education sessions in store, and chances to network with operators and brands alike will be plenty this week in the Music City.
NOLN was there before the bustle of the show began on Sunday, May 12, during the PAMA President’s Reception (sponsored by Service Champ) at the Nashville Underground. The reception buzzed with energy as attendees conversed and enjoyed the kickoff to an exciting week ahead.
PAMA President Matt Webb of Premier Oil Change spoke to the reception attendees about the significant year that PAMA has had with the rebrand from Automotive Oil Change Association to Preventative Automotive Maintenance Association.
Webb said of the rebrand that it: “Better describes our mission (and) the mission of our members.”
In addition, PAMA gave out a handful of awards during the reception—the winners of which all were a surprise to recipients up until the moment their names were announced.
A few of the award winners included Federated Insurance as Vendor of the Year, Justin Cialella of Victory Lane Quick Oil Change as Advocate of the Year, and Mark Bochnowski of Oil Changers for the Distinguished Service Award.
iFLEX runs May 13 – May 15.
