Dec. 27, 2021—Take 5 Oil Change is bringing a new quick lube shop to South Dakota.
Project management company K&M Development purchased a plot of land formerly used as a Kmart parking lot in Rapid City, South Dakota, and will break ground on two shops, a Take 5 and an RNR Tire Express, sometime this spring.
“It’s a great location with great visibility. With that retail center being revitalized, we like the synergy. There’s a lot of drivers there. That corner fits the needs of both businesses very well,” K&M President Max Pfeiffer said via the Rapid City Journal.
Pfeiffer said the shops will create around 20 combined jobs, and he added he hopes the shops will open sometime between April 1 and June 1.
