Feb. 2, 2022—FullSpeed Automotive on Tuesday announced it has opened its 700th service center.
According to a news release, the shop is a Grease Monkey location in Garden Grove, Calif., and had its grand opening on Jan. 26. The new location is owned and operated by Dana Leitner, a local real estate entrepreneur.
"I'm humbled and honored to be a part of such a major brand milestone," said Leitner. "The aftermarket auto care industry is booming - there's never been a more opportune investment."
FullSpeed Automotive awarded 51 quick lube franchises in 2021, split between Grease Monkey and its other quick lube brand, SpeeDee Oil Change and Auto Service. The company "hopes to acquire as many as 150 units" in 2022, which would significantly close the gap in reaching its target of 1,000 shops by the end of next year.
