June 25, 2019—Take 5 Oil Change announced the acquisition of Texas-based Advance Kwik Lube, which has 25 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Midland-Odessa, Amarillo and Lubbock areas.
It marks the 27th acquisition for Take 5's parent company, Driven Brands, and expands the footprint of Take 5 to 375 units across the country, according to a press release.
"We’re pleased to welcome Advance Kwik Lube to the Take 5 family," said Driven Brands CEO Jonathan Fitzpatrick in the release. "The addition of this business continues our strategy of aggressively expanding Take 5’s differentiated automotive service platform.”
The shops will gradually rebrand as Take 5 locations.
