One in five vehicles on the road are driving with unresolved recalls, putting themselves and those around them at risk, according to data from CARFAX.
Specifically, CARFAX found 58.1 million vehicles with unaddressed recalls, representing a 16% increase in the past two years.
Furthermore, of these vehicles, over 14 million vehicles are operating with two or more recalls that need attention.
“Drivers should be aware of the recalls on their vehicles, especially those with two or more,” warned Paul Nadjarian, general manager of CARFAX Car Care. “Addressing them can save lives and protect your wallet in the long run.”
