Valvoline Inc. Converts 38 Company Stores in Texas to Franchise Locations

Valvoline Inc. has announced plans to refranchise 38 of its Valvoline Instant Oil Change stores to a new franchisee in a recent press release.

A wholly owned portfolio company of Franchise Equity Partners, Velocity Auto Care has a portfolio of 10 different franchise companies, including quick-service restaurants, residential home services, auto dealerships, and more. Franchise Equity Partners operates over 750 storefronts in 33 states.

The 38 service centers being refranchised to Velocity Auto Care are located in Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, and west Texas.

This marks the third refranchising effort made by Valvoline. Two were completed during fiscal year 2024, resulting in 28 company stores converted to franchise in Las Vegas and Denver.
